I was introduced to biking in the city of Berkeley, where I biked from the university all the way up to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. While the scene itself is scenic, it is a hard climb, especially when just starting biking. My hardest ride however was from the city of San Francisco to Palo Alto, where we struggled with the hilly roads and the heat. I definitely have come a long way from there (no pun intended).
The summer of 2016 was one of the most eventful one for my physical self, with
me biking 330 miles from Pittsburgh to Washington D.C. I had trained for over
a month prior to the main trip. We completed the whole trip in five days,
covering an average of 60 odd miles everyday.
I chronicled our travel in my blog article here in case you are interested.
